Fisher family pier header

The newly constructed Fisher Family Pier is a truly one-of-a-kind destination. Stretching nearly 900 feet into the Atlantic Ocean, the pier offers plenty of space for sightseeing, fishing, and taking in breathtaking coastal views. Its distinctive design, shaped like a Pompano fish at the end, makes it a standout attraction for both residents and visitors. The pier also features convenient amenities, including a bike rack for easy access.

The Fisher Family Pier is named in honor of the Fisher family’s longstanding dedication to the City of Pompano Beach, particularly former Mayor and current Broward County Commissioner Lamar Fisher. The family’s legacy of civic service spans more than 100 years, dating back to Lamar Fisher’s great-grandfather, Clinton Lyons.
