Due to Hurricane Milton and the potential for severe weather conditions, the City of Pompano Beach operations, facilities, and programs will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/9/24, and Thursday, 10/10/24. Concern for the safety of our residents, visitors, and employees is the highest priority of City officials in potentially dangerous conditions.
Open 7am - 10pm, Sunday - Saturday
Fisher Family Pier was named after the Fisher Family, more specifically, former Pompano Beach Mayor, Lamar Fisher, who is now Broward County Commissioner. The Fisher family's civic involvement spans for a period of more than 100 years, starting with Lamar Fisher's great-grandfather, Clinton Lyons.
The Bait Shop offers food, beverages and bait for purchase, as well as rod rentals. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a guardian. There is a 3 rod maximum per person and a Florida Fishing License is not required to fish on the Pier.
Pier Fees:
Sightseeing: FREE
Daily Fishing Rate: $6/person
Rod Rental Package: $27 each
This newly constructed fishing pier is one of a kind! It measures almost 900 feet in length with ability for patrons to sight-see and/or fish. The end of the pier is also built in the shape of a Pompano Fish. This is a great tourist attraction.
