Katrice Eason, Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
As a proud native of Pompano Beach, Florida I am committed to leading initiatives that enhance quality of life, promote inclusion, and empower individuals through purposeful recreation. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Florida Memorial University and bring over 14 years of experience in special education. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong foundation in advocacy, program development, and individualized support, ensuring that every person I serve has the opportunity to succeed. With more than 10 years of experience in parks and recreation, I am passionate about creating impactful programs that foster engagement, independence, and community connection. I am honored to serve the City of Pompano Beach and remain focused on making a meaningful difference one person at a time.
Allie Lallance, Therapeutic Recreation Leader
I have a true love for sports and a deep passion for working with special populations. My goal is to create inclusive recreational programs that enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of those I work with. With my background in sports, I use my skills to help others experience the joy and benefits of physical activity, no matter their abilities. I am committed to empowering individuals by fostering independence, inclusion, and providing meaningful experiences through therapeutic recreation. Helping others and making a positive difference in their lives is at the heart of everything I do.
Kyle Fitzsimmons, Therapeutic Recreation Leader
Being a native of Pompano Beach, it is important to me to help build a welcoming, accepting community for special populations here in my own backyard. I love sports and have been fortunate enough to translate that love into being a coach and partner for Special Olympics for many years. The experience I have gained with Special Olympics has taught me how to create a positive environment for anyone who participates in our programs or events. Creating positive memories for those around us is important to me. I am committed to providing opportunities that promote growth, self-confidence, and a sense of belonging for all participants.
