Fisher Family Pier was named after former Mayor Lamar Fisher who is now a Broward County Mayor and his family. The Fisher family's civic involvement spans for a period of more than 100 years, starting with Lamar Fisher's great-grandfather, Clinton Lyons.

Daily fishing rate $6. There is a 3 rod maximum.

This newly constructed fishing pier is one of a kind! It measures almost 900 feet in length with ability for patrons to sight-see and/or fish. The end of the pier is also built in the shape of a Pompano Fish. This is a great tourist attraction.
