Water Fitness Instructors Wanted!

Pompano Beach Aquatic Center is looking to partner with an independent water fitness instructor to bring vibrant and divers class offerings to our community. Programs of interest include, but are not limited to, Water Aerobics, Aqua Zumba, Aqua Yoga. Houston/Sworn Aquatic Center (H/S)

The Houston/Sworn Aquatic Center hosts nine (9) 25-yard lap lanes with two one-meter spring boards. The facility features a learn to swim area for teaching swimming lessons. The facility also features a WIBIT obstacle course for party rentals and summer camp rentals.

Aquatic Center

The Pompano Beach Aquatic Center hosts an Olympic sized lap pool and a small teaching pool. The Olympic sized pool measures 50M by 25Yrds plus a small shallow space for programs. The teaching pool is the original Pompano Community pool and is a “T shaped” 25 meter pool. In summer 2020 the 50M pool was relined with Rensys pool lining system and reopened on June 17th. In 2021 a renovation project is expected to be completed for the 25M teaching pool which included resurfacing & the addition of a new building which hosts the updated pump room for the 25 M pool, a multipurpose room, and an expanded pro shop.
