Description:

The McNair Park was named in honor of Ronald E. McNair, one of the astronauts killed in the 1986 Challenger shuttle explosion.

McNair Park has some amazing new improvements- stop by and check them out!

• New artificial turf football field with bleacher seating, press box and concessions
• New exterior playground and exercise area
• New 6,000 sq. ft. recreational clubhouse with fitness center and yoga room
  
• Resurfaced existing basketball courts and installed new hoops
• New 8-lane Olympic-size running track
• Expanded parking to accommodate another 270 spaces.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Beginning April 1, 2024 Non- Resident Fees will be changed. Please see below for new, Non-Resident fee amounts.

• Monday- Friday: 7am-11am & 4pm-8pm
• Saturday: 7am-6pm
• Sunday: Closed

Fitness Center Fees:

• Annual Membership $100/Resident | $200.00/Non Resident
• Daily Admission: $10/Resident | $20/Non Resident

The Perry Weather Outdoor Warning System:

• A completely wireless, cloud-based emergency alert and lighting warning system that is constantly operational and integrated with the most reliable lightning detection network to provide 24 hour weather risk monitoring and warning. Park patrons will have direct access to the system online utilizing either the City’s official parks page and quick link QR codes posted throughout the parks.
