Wags and Waves Dog Beach

Welcome to Wags & Waves Dog Beach — Pompano Beach’s potential spot for pups to splash, dig, and play along the shoreline!

Location: SE 2nd Street Beach Access Entrance

This exciting pilot program is designed to give our four-legged friends a safe place to enjoy the beach while we evaluate how the space works for dogs, owners, beachgoers, and nearby residents.

A PILOT PROGRAM FOR THE COMMUNITY

The launch of Wags & Waves Dog Beach is part of a pilot program.

To determine if the Dog Beach becomes a permanent feature in Pompano Beach.

  • Responsible dog ownership — following posted rules and respecting the space.
  • Courtesy to other beachgoers — sharing the shoreline with non-dog visitors.
  • Respect for residents — keeping noise and activity levels considerate of those living nearby.
