Due to Hurricane Milton and the potential for severe weather conditions, the City of Pompano Beach operations, facilities, and programs will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/9/24, and Thursday, 10/10/24. Concern for the safety of our residents, visitors, and employees is the highest priority of City officials in potentially dangerous conditions.
Open daily from sunrise to sunset; if facility is lighted, night-time activities may remain open until 11:00 p.m.
Sand and Spurs Equestrian Park is situated on 12 acres of land adjacent to the Goodyear Blimp base, providing grounds for the care, housing and exercising of equine. There are a total of 35 stalls, both privately owned and City-owned , some of which are currently available for rent. The current fees for stall rental, park hours, and park rules are provided in the City’s Ordinance:

An application is required to acquire a permit to stable a horse in the park. For more information about the park please call 954.545.7014.
Amenities include eight grass paddocks and portable paddocks, a lighted main ring for night use which is larger than arena size, two medium rings, two small rings, and a standard, small dressage ring. Water and electric are provided, along with trash/waste pickup. Space is available for horse trailer parking. A BBQ area is available for everyday use or by permit for special events.
