Highlands Community Center was built in 1998 and has many amenities to serve the neighborhood it is in.

Offerings:

Pompano Beach Highlands Park and Recreation Center consists of 3.3 acres. Facilities include basketball, playground, 2 pavilions and a receation center. The Center has one large auditorium and two smaller classrooms.

Teens can acquire volunteer hours while gaining valuable experience in a fun, recreational setting.

Applications are available at the following facilities: Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, Mitchell/Moore, McNair, and Highlands Park. Accepted applicants will be required to attend an orientation/training prior to volunteering.

Camp Discovery Highlands Park

June 12th - August 11th, Session I: June 12 - June 30, Session II: July 3 - July 21, Session III: July 24 - August 11, No camp July 19 or July 4, 7:30am – 6:00pm

Camp Discovery provides a safe learning environment for children to develop social skills, decision-making skills and experience new things.
