Highlands Community Center was built in 1998 and has many amenities to serve the neighborhood it is in.
The Perry Weather Outdoor Warning System:
A completely wireless, cloud-based emergency alert and lighting warning system that is constantly operational and integrated with the most reliable lightning detection network to provide 24 hour weather risk monitoring and warning.
Park patrons can have direct access to the system by clicking here or by using the QR codes posted throughout our parks.
Offerings:
Pompano Beach Highlands Park and Recreation Center consists of 3.3 acres. Facilities include basketball, playground, 2 pavilions and a recreation center. The Center has one medium auditorium and two smaller classrooms. This facility also has a bike rack.
