Black Nativity │ November 27–29
Black Nativity is an African-American telling of the Nativity story, based on the Song Play written by acclaimed African-American poet and playwright Langston Hughes. The show recreates the journey of Mary and Joseph, resplendent in African costumes, to Bethlehem, accompanied by a rousing repertoire of spirituals.
Light Up MLK │ November 28 │ 5 PM
Join us in the MLK corridor for a festive evening of music, live performances, tasty food, and the ceremonial lighting that kicks off the holiday season. This free community celebration, presented by the City of Pompano Beach Cultural Affairs Department (Pompano Beach Arts), welcomes everyone to embrace the spirit of the season.

Celebrate the season while shopping local at a festive holiday edition of the Green Market! Browse fresh finds, handmade gifts, artisan goods, and more while enjoying family-friendly activities and cheerful community fun.
Donuts with Santa │ December 12 │ 9–11 AM
Celebrate the magic of the season with a festive morning at Emma Lou Olson Civic Center! Enjoy delicious donuts, an interactive holiday game show, and a special visit from Santa. Tickets are $7 per person and go on sale November 2.
Deck the Halls │ December 12 │ 6:30–8:30 PM
Get into the holiday spirit at this free, special needs dance for ages 13+ with developmental disabilities. Join us at Emma Lou Olson Civic Center for a festive evening of music, dancing, and an Ugly Sweater Contest!
