Please join us to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s legacy on Monday, January 19th, with a parade and celebration!
January 19 | 9am-5:30pm | Blanche Ely High School to Mitchell/Moore Park | FREE
Come out and enjoy the 9am parade with the route ending at Mitchell Moore Park for a festive, fun filled day of live entertainment, music, a kids zone and so much more. Food trucks and merchandise vendors will be available for individual purchase.

- Parade line up begins at 8 AM at Blanche Ely High School
- The parade begins at 9 AM at Blanche Ely High School along MLK Blvd and back.
- The celebration will begin immediately following the parade at Mitchell Moore Park located at 901 NW 10th Street with live entertainment, a kid’s zone and food for purchase. This is a free event and open to the public.
- Organizations from the community, including City officials, churches, local businesses, fraternities and sororities, etc. will march together representing Dr. King’s six principles of non-violence.
