Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Celebration

Please join us to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s legacy on Monday, January 19^th, with a parade and celebration!

January 19 | 9am-5:30pm | Blanche Ely High School to Mitchell/Moore Park | FREE

Come out and enjoy the 9am parade with the route ending at Mitchell Moore Park for a festive, fun filled day of live entertainment, music, a kids zone and so much more. Food trucks and merchandise vendors will be available for individual purchase.

Parade applications are open until January 14th

Vendor applications are open until January 5th

• Parade line up begins at 8 AM at Blanche Ely High School
• The parade begins at 9 AM at Blanche Ely High School along MLK Blvd and back.
• The celebration will begin immediately following the parade at Mitchell Moore Park located at 901 NW 10^th Street with live entertainment, a kid’s zone and food for purchase. This is a free event and open to the public.
• Organizations from the community, including City officials, churches, local businesses, fraternities and sororities, etc. will march together representing Dr. King’s six principles of non-violence.
