About the Park
Canine Corner Dog Park is a 2.6-acre, members-only off-leash park designed for dogs and their owners to enjoy a safe and engaging environment.
Location: 1101 N. Federal Highway, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 (at the intersection of Federal Hwy & NE 10th Street)

Amenities: Dog water fountains, pet waste stations with bags, benches, shaded areas, a bike rack and paved walkways.
Separate Areas for Small and Large Dogs: Two distinct sections accommodate dogs under 25 lbs and those 25 lbs and over.
Staging Area: A designated space for leashing and unleashing dogs before entering the main park.
Memberships: Available to fit your needs with yearly, six month, weekly and daily options.
Canine Corner is a self-monitored park, which means its success depends on the shared responsibility and courtesy of all visitors. To keep the environment safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that patrons:
Even friendly dogs can cause issues by jumping on people or clashing with other pets, so vigilance is essential. Park rules are posted clearly, and Animal Control regularly patrols and responds to complaints.
We’re proud to offer a safe, off-leash space for dogs to play—let’s work together to keep it fun and welcoming for everyone.

Required Documents
Proof of residency (recent utility bill and photo ID)
Current rabies vaccination certificate (metal tag alone is insufficient)
At all times any dog is outside the designated fenced off leash area, the dog must be under physical control of a responsible adult by means of a leash. Dogs off leash outside of the fenced area will be considered at large and shall be subject to a violation of § 90.08.
The leash shall be removed inside the fenced staging area. One leash for each dog must be secured in the hand of the adult owner/handler. Leashes may not be attached to a dog inside the fenced dog park unless separating dogs during an altercation.
Dogs may run at large in the designated fenced areas in accordance with the rules in this section.
If a dog, person, or activity is annoying or provoking other dogs or people, the adult owner/handler must immediately stop the behavior or leave the park.
Adult owners/handlers must immediately remove their dog’s defecation and place it in the appropriate trash receptacle.
Dogs are the only animals permitted in the fenced areas. Only dogs under 25 pounds are permitted in the small dog area.
Adult owners/handlers must remain in the fenced area with their dog(s) and must maintain constant attention to their dog’s behavior.
A maximum of three dogs per responsible adult owner/handler is allowed.
Children must be accompanied and monitored closely by a responsible adult. No infants, toddlers, or strollers are allowed in the dog park.
No smoking, skates, skateboards, or bicycles are permitted.
Dogs wearing a spiked, choke, and/or pronged collar are prohibited.
Dog leashes of a maximum length of 6 feet are required. Retractable leashes are not allowed.
All dogs must have both a current rabies tag and personalized ID tag affixed to the collar.
Puppies under four (4) months of age are not permitted in the park for their health and safety.
Dogs in heat are prohibited.
Small bite-sized training treats are permitted.
No toys, glass receptacles, food, or alcohol are permitted at any time.
Adult owners/handlers must prevent dogs from digging or causing other damage. Owners are required to fill holes and/or repair damage caused by their dog.
All dog bites and injuries must be reported to the Animal Control Division or BSO before leaving the park.
The Dog Park is closed sunset to sunrise.
Animal Control and the Broward Sheriff’s Office reserve the right to set a time limit and a maximum capacity for use of the park.
No selling of any animals, including but not limited to puppies, is permitted in the park.
ENFORCEMENT & PENALTIES
Violations of any of the above-listed rules shall result in a violation with penalties conforming with § 90.99 unless otherwise noted in any section.
Any animal control officer or law enforcement officer is authorized to prohibit patrons or dogs from using the park or to require the use of a cage-style muzzle.
When a dog’s behavior in the park results in aggression towards other dogs, animal control or law enforcement may take appropriate action, including prohibiting the dog from using the park or requiring additional safety measures.
When a dog’s unprovoked behavior results in injuries or bite wounds, animal control or law enforcement may take appropriate action, including prohibiting the dog from using the park or requiring additional safety measures.
When a park patron exhibits aggressive behavior or uses profane language, animal control or law enforcement may take appropriate action, including prohibiting the patron from using the park.
When a dog owner or any person who has custody or control of a dog in the park fails to report an incident, animal control or law enforcement may take appropriate action.
It shall constitute a violation for any person who has been suspended or prohibited from use of the dog park to enter or use the dog park during the suspension or prohibition period.
When a person or dog has been prohibited from use of the park, the person or owner of the dog may file a written request for a hearing.
No person, company, group, organization or other entity shall set up any display, provide any services, or park or locate any vehicle in the park without authorization.
